Riding for children

We offer in hand horseback riding for children with a five time card. At the same time the kids will be taught how to treat horses respectfully and how to care for them. Note, children come with an adult! 

In hand riding for five times already creates a bond between the horse and the child and is a nice way to spend time together, the adult also gets some exercise :)

The riding happens in versatile, nice outdoors. Duration about 1h/per session. For 3-9 year-olds. 

In hand riding in the forest

A forest trip for a child and an adult where the child rides a part of the journey with us leading the horse in hand. Also possible for one adult and two children. In the end, after the forest trip, you can enjoy your own packed lunch during a picnic by the horses' field or if it rains, in a more sheltered place. Coffee and juice are included in the price, any other snacks you must bring with you. Duration about 2h. 

Learning about horses for 10-14 year-old children 5x or 10x

Learn about horse care and handling and the respectful treatment of horses. Get to know horses as individuals and personalities. Learn other horse related matters and spend time with them in different ways. The child can be a beginner or more experienced with horses, the learning will happen individually considering all factors. The sessions can include ground handling, horseback riding and carriage rides considering what the child's own interests and feelings are. One session lasts about 2h.  

An adult is not supposed to take part in this but you can hang out in our premises or get to know Nuuksio's routes in the meantime.
